Card reader for iPhone and iPad
Read your memory card
on your phone.
View and share photos from your camera directly on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone, with no laptop in between. The IMPÓSABLE IMP440 has Lightning, USB-C and USB-A on the same cable.
One reader for phone, tablet and laptop
Most card readers fit one kind of port. The IMP440 has three connectors on the same cable: Lightning for iPhones and iPads with a Lightning port, USB-C for newer iPhones, iPads, Android phones and laptops, and USB-A for desktops and older laptops. On location you read a card on your phone, at home the same card on your computer.
No drivers or apps are needed: the reader works with iOS, Android, Windows and macOS. On Android devices the card must be formatted as FAT32.
Five card formats
The IMP440 reads SD (SDHC/SDXC), TF/microSD (microSDHC/SDXC), Memory Stick, CompactFlash Type I and xD — one card at a time. That covers the cards of most compact cameras, mirrorless cameras, action cams, drones and older cameras.
The cable is 15 cm: long enough to rest the reader next to your phone, short enough for a jacket pocket. The box contains the reader and a manual. Full specifications are on the IMP440 product page.
Who is it for?
Anyone who wants to share photos from a camera before the laptop is open: travelling, at a festival, at a wedding. If you shoot with a screen-free camera, this is also the simplest way to see your photos for the first time — on your phone, when you decide to.
